Sole Payroll Specialist / Payroll Coordinator

Our client is looking for a payroll pro ready to own the full cycle for a fast-growing, multi-state operation with thousands of employees relying on accurate, on-time pay every week. This is a chance to be the go-to person for payroll, working closely with leadership and making a real impact on the team members who keep the business running.

Compensation

• $55,000-60,000, depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing

• Processing weekly, multi-state payroll for 4,000+ employees
• Managing the full in-house payroll cycle from start to finish
• Coordinating with the tax vendor on payroll tax filings
• Serving as the sole point of contact for payroll processing
• Supporting reconciliation efforts alongside the accounting team
• Partnering with the Controller on payroll-related reporting

What You'll Need to be Considered

• 3-5+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience
• High-volume employee payroll experience (250-500+)
• Multi-state payroll experience
• Proficient in Excel; Great Plains ERP is a plus
• Comfortable owning payroll independently as the sole processor
• Reconciliation experience is a plus
