Job Description

Position Summary:

The Development Intern will support The Marian Group’s real estate development activities while gaining hands-on experience across financial analysis, market research, due diligence, and project coordination. This internship is designed as a learning-focused role that introduces students to the full lifecycle of real estate development, blending analytical and project-based responsibilities under the guidance of experienced development professionals. The intern will work a flexible schedule aligned with their academic commitments, averaging fewer than 30 hours per week. The internship is paid and may last between 5 and 12 months, depending on student availability and educational requirements. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time employment upon completion of the internship, subject to organizational needs and available positions. Learning Objectives The Development Intern will gain exposure to: Real estate development underwriting and feasibility analysis Public and private financing programs Due diligence and pre-development processes Cross-functional collaboration with Development, Finance, and Construction teams Professional reporting, presentations, and investment materials Key Responsibilities: Financial & Market Analysis Support Development & Project Coordination Due Diligence & Documentation Financing & Compliance Exposure Reporting & Presentations General Learning & Support Minimum Qualifications: Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, Economics, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
